It can be challenging creating a legal model that accurately represents a legal case. The Legal Model Wizard helps by prompting you to identify and order the important legal issues to be decided in court.
The Wizard then generates a working model structure where you can then add probabilities and consequences, so the model can be analyzed to guide legal strategy.
- Identify the important legal issues.
- Sort the issues based on how
they will be decided in court. - For each issue’s potential yes or no
decision/ruling, designate the next step
whether that be another legal issue or
ends a case scenario. - Create your model.
Once you have created the case’s model structure, add probabilities and award values to complete the model.
Then analyze the model to consider legal strategy and assess risk.
